The highlight of this internet download manager is the ability to organize downloads efficiently so that you can download even large files fast without any hiccups. It's available for a host of different platforms and - for you geeks - it can be used to download via cli too.When it comes to offering an accelerated downloading experience, FDM (Free Download Manager) can give IDM a run for its money. I'd personally recommend uGet Download Manager. However, I'd suggest you to copy the link to the content (option to copy the link appears on clicking the extension) and then use a downloader software to do the job. If it has, you can click on download to save the video to your local machine. Once you are in a webpage playing video content, just click on the FVD extension to check if the content has been sniffed. It does a pretty good job and works similarly to EG.
